Leah's Baby Shower

Saturday I had the pleasure of throwing my sweet friend, Leah, a baby shower with my mom! She has been a friend since middle school, and I truly value her honesty, encouragement, and overall friendship. What a treasure she is!

We went with teacup theme, and here are some pictures of the festivities:

I couldn't be more excited to meet baby girl Bradley!

A Friend's Baptism

Watching people be baptized is such a humbling, moving and powerful experience for me. It doesn't matter if I don't know who they are--I am thankful and empowered by seeing the work of Jesus in their lives...what a gift!

Today my dear friend, Jen, and her husband, Brian, were baptized. God is so faithful and grown them so much over the past year. We are thankful for their friendship and pursuit of Him. I pray that God would bring to me that fresh, sacred joy of his salvation and grow me as He has done with them. It's wonderful to see His work in their lives, and I pray my life is also a reflection of His work. Their testimony is a reminder to daily be confessing my sins and seeking His power as I try to humanly love others.

Here are a few pictures of this wonderful experience!

Omena, MI

Will and I took a day trip up to the cottage my great grandparents used to own. We were planning on staying a few days there with my Aunt, but there was no power due to those crazy storms over the weekend. Nonetheless, Will loved exploring. I am amazed at how much he loves being outside, in water, and investigating the world around him. What a treasure that I get to experience his firsts in life with him!

Since we explored for quite some time, I was able to snap a ton of pictures on my camera. I can never have too many of him!
